Pomonal Water Tank Project
In February 2024, bushfires impacted the Grampians region, resulting in the loss of 48 homes in the township of Pomonal. For a community of just 300 people, the impact was devastating. Then, only ten months later, bushfire struck again on Christmas Day, adding further challenges to an already difficult recovery process.
The Pomonal Association has been working with residents to support them through the slow recovery process.

The Project
For communities recovering from natural disasters, practical support can make a meaningful difference. Through our partnership with the Pomonal Progress Association, five local households were connected with the Reece Foundation and provided with water tanks and associated infrastructure.
Across two days the fantastic crew at Reliable Plumbing volunteered their skills to install the water tanks, bringing a renewed energy to the rebuild process.
A big thank you to Bushmans for supporting he delivery of these tanks to make to make this project possible.

Supporting rural families.
The water tanks will support residents with access to clean drinking water as they continue their rebuild journey.
A better world starts with you.
Every donation helps us and our partners on the ground make real change for the people that need it the most. If you’re a qualified tradie, you can join our list of volunteers to be notified when there's a project that needs your expertise. Have a project idea?
