Working with tradies to create a better world.Find out more
Creating a world where everyone has access to clean water and sanitation.
For most of us, water is a basic need and easily accessible, but sadly this isn't the case for almost 2.3 billion people around the world. The Reece Foundation works with volunteer tradies and partners to fund and initiate projects that provide clean water and sanitation to communities at home and abroad.
If you're a tradie, you're fully qualified to make a difference.
There's nothing like the feeling of giving back. I'm so proud of what we accomplished on the Hudad. Not just the plumbing system we built, but all the knock-on effects. And it's something only plumbers can do.
I’ll always remember my trip to Uganda. We hit a few hurdles on the way, but every project has something you can’t predict. I really felt like it was my trade skills that made the difference.
Water connection for remote school in Ethiopia
The Hudad plateau in Ethiopia is one of the most remote parts of Africa, 3,200m above ground level. Allan Kennedy, the organisation Friends of the Hudad and The Reece Grant partnered to build a school with fresh water to improve the community's health and wellbeing.
NSW Flood Disaster Recovery Efforts
On 28 February 2022, floods inundated Lismore and the rest of the Northern Rivers region. This disastrous weather event destroyed thousands of homes across the region, leaving the residents homeless, displaced or living in poor conditions.
