The Reece Foundation supports locally-led initiatives that help communities in Australia and overseas with access to clean water, sanitation or food security through irrigation.

Before you apply

Our small grants program is focused on providing access to clean water, sanitation or food security. Grants will not be awarded for general maintenance purposes or as a general donation.

Check you're eligibile

You’ll need to be a not-for-profit organisation or community group, individual or group of individuals sponsored by a not-for-profit entity to be eligible for one of our grants.

Know your project

Previous grant recipients

Two private, drop-toilet structures in rural, outback Australia

Bush Loo Project

We granted the Karrkad Kanjdji Trust the funds to construct purpose-built, moveable drop-toilets to provide sanitation for 105 students in remote Australia.

Syada School WASH Project

The Syada School kicked off 2025 with earthquake proof buildings and access to toilets, handwashing stations and a drinking-water system.

“Let’s Get Tanked!” Project

With the hands-on support of the local community, tanks were placed next to the house of 55 families to provide water during the dry season.

Apply for a grant

The Reece Foundation accepts grant applications for proposals between AU$5,000 and AU$30,000. Grant applications are open and we are prioritising applications that focus on flood-relief efforts in Australia. All successful applicants will be contacted within two months of their application.
